Dr Pragati Agarwal, BDS (Brist), MSc (London), MOrth (RCS Edin)

Dr. Agarwal is on the specialist list in Orthodontics as recognised by the General Dental Council and is a member of the British Orthodontic Society and the British Dental Association.

She provides a full range of orthodontic treatments - both removable (including Invisalign) and fixed (metal and tooth coloured brackets) lingual and buccal orthodontic appliances. She treats both children and adult patients.

Qualified in Dentistry from the University of Bristol in 1995 she then gained experience in Maxillofacial Surgery and Paediatric dentistry in various hospital teaching posts. She has worked in both general dental practice and Community Dental Service posts in the U.K. and abroad which have involved working with special needs patients.

Dr Agarwal trained in orthodontics at the ‘GKT’ (Guy’s, King’s and St. Thomas’ Hospitals) Dental Institute. This included treating patients at Guy’s, Kingston and Ashford Hospitals. Her MSc was on the measurement of facial aesthetics in surgical adult orthodontic patients and will shortly be published in the European Journal of Orthodontics. Upon completion of her training, she was awarded a Masters Degree in Orthodontics as well as Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.
