Dr Martin Wanendeya BDS (U Brist) Dip Implant RCS (Eng).

Martin is one of a few dentists in the UK to have been awarded the Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons at the Advanced level. There are many dentists who place implants, but very few have been trained to this level.

Martin enjoys working with people to help improve their smile and self-confidence through cosmetic dentistry and implants. He believes the greatest satisfaction as a dentist comes through helping patients understand what's possible and working with them to achieve their aims, whether it's a simple treatment or a complex rehabilitation. He always involves patients in decisions about their treatment so that they feel relaxed and empowered about the choices they make.

Martin qualified from Bristol University in 1995 and began practicing in West Sussex. He soon developed an interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry and went on to complete a year's training in advanced cosmetic and restorative dentistry in addition to the Invisalign Advance Provider Workshop.

A firm believer in the importance of lifelong learning, Martin regularly attends postgraduate courses to update his knowledge with the latest advances in dentistry. He is a member of Royal College of Surgeons, the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Association of Dental Implantology, the International Team in Implantology and the British Dental Association.

Dr Nikhil Sisodia BDS (U Brist)

Nik graduated from Bristol University in 1995 and after a year as Senior House Officer in Restorative Dentistry and several years in general practice in London he is now a partner here at Ten.

Nik believes the most valuable clinical and diagnostic tool is the simple act of listening and his caring philosophy for treatment is based on just that. His approach is to work collaboratively with each individual patient to devise a treatment plan that's best suited to them.

From the simplest to the most complex of cases, the most rewarding aspect of Nik's work is in helping people regain their health, smile and confidence. With a special interest in dental implants, Nik is also a mentor and lecturer for several leading dental implant companies.

He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology, Member of the International Team for Implantology and Member of the Association of Dental Implantology. He is a past President of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He lectures nationally and Internationally on all aspects of restorative dentistry.

Training

Both Nik and Martin keep themselves abreast of current best practice and developments in dentistry by attending postgraduate continuing dental education courses, subscribing to dental journals and also by conducting clinical audits within the practice to maintain standards of quality. They also join their colleagues to conduct Peer review groups to compare delivery of treatments at our practice with others. In addition to this they are both active members of various academies and bodies and you will see certificates displayed within the practice demonstrating this. Occasionally we are also asked to trial or assess new products by dental distribution companies and this has recently resulted in the availability of a new tooth whitening product being launched to the UK dental profession at large.

Dr Federico Tinti - Specialist Periodontist

After qualifying as a dentist in Italy in 1998, Federico went on to achieve post graduate qualifications in periodontology both in New York and London (Guy's, Kings and St Thomas').

Federico's specialised area is the supporting structures and tissues around the teeth - the bone, gum, and ligaments that hold the teeth in place. He is a highly experienced periodontists and has limited his practice to periodontology since acquiring his Masters of Science in 2003.

Federico has been part of the Ten team since 2003 and has treated many of our patients and some complicated cases with excellent results. He believes it's important to look at each patient as an individual and to find the course treatment that best suits them. In every case, his approach is to completely involve his patients in the decision-making process at every stage of their treatment.

Dr Apostolos Bozis DDS, MSc.

Apostolos graduated from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 1996. After a year in the Greek air force where he served as a dental surgeon, he took up a full time general practitioner position in East Anglia.

In 2001 he decided to pursue his interest in endodontics (root canal therapy) and in 2003 completed a Masters of Science Degree in Endodontics at the prestigious Guys Hospital of London.

It's no secret that the mere mention of root canal therapy strikes fear into the bravest of hearts. But in fact it's not nearly so bad as its image suggests. Apostolos's unique talent is in not only providing an exceptional standard of treatment, without any pain, but in making his patients feel completely relaxed and at ease. With his reassuring, gentle approach he's even helped phobic patients overcome a longstanding fear of the dentist.

Apostolos also works as a Specialist Associate at the Royal London Hospital and in private practice. He thoroughly enjoys the challenge of solving difficult endodontic cases.

As an active member of the British Society of Endodontics, he's a great believer in continuous education and is always attending conferences to ensure he continues his professional development and keeps up to date with the latest innovations in endodontics.

Dr Bhavish Patel BDS (U Manchester)

Over the last ten years, Bhavish has provided complex and innovative dental therapies for a wide variety of patients. He graduated from Manchester University in 1998 and worked in the north west of England before joining the team at Ten.

Bhavish's philosophy as a dentist is to treat patients as you would expect to be treated yourself and his gentle and friendly approach is reassuring, especially for those anxious about dental treatment.

Cosmetic procedures have transformed the confidence and self-esteem of many of Bhavish's patients, and as well as the most comprehensive and state of the art dental solutions, he provides dental and facial rejuvenation treatments such as Botox and dermal fillers.

Bhavish continues to develop his skills and knowledge and regularly attends post-graduate courses and seminars to keep up-to-date with the latest advances in cosmetic dentistry. He is an active member of the British Dental Association (BDA), British Academy of Cosmetic Dentists (BACD) and the Association of Facial Aesthetics (AFA).

Jatin Gupta BDS U Manchester

Jatin studied at Manchester Dental Hospital and graduated with his BDS in 2004.

Since qualifying, he has worked nationally, carrying out general and cosmetic dentistry. After many years working around the country, Jatin decided that London was the city for him and is now working with us here at Ten, carrying out all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry.

Jatin's approach is gentle, caring and minimally invasive, making him an ideal choice of dental for patients who are anxious or nervous about receiving dental treatment.

He is also a full member of the BACD, ADI, ITI and is continuously attending seminars and courses to keep himself up to date to help provide patients with the best available treatment.

In his free time Jatin is quite the adventurer and enjoys sailing, snowboarding and scuba diving. He has also climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and Three Peaks and plans to climb Everest one day!

Johannes Bantleon Dr Med Dent

Johannes entered Vienna Medical School in 2001 and graduated as Dr Med Dent with Honors.

Although interested in all aspects of dentistry, Johannes has a real passion for aesthetic dentistry and complex restorative treatments. His main focus is always to promote the long-term wellbeing of his patients and he carefully provides evidence based treatment plans, which are tailored to the specific needs of his patients.

Johannes is a perfectionist by nature and has great enthusiasm and a clear understanding of all technical aspects of dentistry, allowing him to achieve the best results in his work.

As part of his commitment to ongoing development, Johannes regularly attends postgraduate courses to keep his industry knowledge up to date.

Outside of dentistry, he is a keen footballer and tennis player, which helps him keep fit and relaxed after a busy week at work.

Dr Olumide Ojo, BDS (Newcastle) MFDS RCS (Eng)

Olumide (better known as 'Mide') graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2005 with distinction in Restorative Dentistry. He spent a year working in hospitals as an Oral Surgery Senior House Officer to further improve his surgical skills. He has since worked in general dental practices in London before joining the team at Ten Dental.

Mide always strives to build rapport with his patients, taking time to explain treatments and discuss all options available. His calm manner helps to quickly put patients at ease.

He enjoys all aspects of dentistry, from smile makeovers to complex surgical extractions. Mide takes pride in restoring confidence in dental-phobic patients, including offering IV sedation to overcome any dental anxieties. He is also trained to provide facial aesthetic treatments with Botox and dermal fillers

Mide has a keen interest in the latest cutting edge dental techniques and regularly attends various courses across the UK to advance his knowledge. He is also a full member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentists (BACD), the Royal College of Surgeons (RCS) and the Society for the Advancement in Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD).

Jaime Brain Dip CDT RCS

Jaime is a GDC registered clinical dental technician. He trained at Cardiff University before then undertaking his CDT training at George Brown College in Toronto, Canada and the Royal College of Surgeons in

London, England. He takes great pride in seeing the difference his work makes to his patients' lives.

Jaime has been working with dentures for over 15 years and is highly experienced in tailoring them for patients who have often struggled to wear dentures comfortably in the past. He has a vast number of satisfied patients attesting to his excellent level of skill and service in resolving even the most challenging of denture problems.

Jaime works closely with his patients to provide the full range of solutions to denture wearers; whether it be full or partial dentures, implant supported overdentures or, where required, fixed solutions.

Just like his colleagues here at Ten Dental, Jaime appreciates the importance of continued education and regularly attends courses and seminars to update his skills and knowledge in the field of dentistry.

Dr Parmjit Singh, BDS (Ncle), MFDS RCS (Edin), MSc (London), MOrth RCS (Eng), FDS Orth RCS (Eng), CILT (London)

After qualifying as a dentist from the University of Newcastle in 2001, Parmjit relocated to London where he worked in general practice and at three undergraduate teaching hospitals. His specialist orthodontic training took place in London, Essex and Ipswich. He is trained to consultant level, the highest level for a UK orthodontist, and works at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London as a locum consultant.

Parmjit's special interests include adult orthodontics (having completed an MSc in smile aesthetics) as well as treating patients with severe dentofacial deformity and with developmentally missing teeth (hypodontia). He has also developed skills in lingual orthodontics (Incognito) and in the use of invisible braces (ClearStep and Invisalign).

He thoroughly enjoys teaching and was recently awarded the Certificate in Learning and Teaching. He has presented his research findings across the UK, as well as in Europe, and has written articles for numerous British and European dental journals.

He spends his time between London and Spain and enjoys cycling and DIY in his spare time. He has recently started to learn Spanish and dreams of one day having a pilot's licence!

Dr Ilias Marinopoulos DDS, MSc (Gothenburg, Sweden)

Dr. Marinopoulos performs work that has the hallmarks of class. He is internationally renowned for his extraordinary ability to make use of the more difficult techniques involved in cosmetic dentistry.

Having graduated from the University of Athens Dental School in 2002, he has gone on to work in London. He has enjoyed years in some of the most respected clinics in the capital which no doubt contributed to his ever developing skill set.

Before coming to London, Ilias spent three years in a military hospital. This allowed him to work with extreme cases and therefore fine tune his basic dental techniques before moving on to study orthodontics. He did this in Aarhus and then later in Sweden where in 2010 he graduated from Sahlgrenska Academy with a distinction.
