Endodontics
An endodontist is a dentist that has received extensive advanced training to provide root canal therapy and other related treatments. Dentist refer patients to see an Endodontist if they feel that it would give the tooth the best prognosis or that it is beyond their capabilities to perform the root canal therapy.

Dr Apostolos Bozis DDS, MSc
Apostolos graduated from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 1996. After a one year spell in the Greek air force where he served as a Dental surgeon he took up a full time general practitioner position in a practice in East Anglia. Between 2001 - 2003 he successfully completed the Masters of Science Degree in Endodontics at the prestigious Guys Hospital of London under the supervision of Professor T. R. Pitt Ford. Since then he has worked as a Specialist associate at the Royal London Hospital carrying out strictly referred Endodontic cases. He is currently working in private practice accepting referrals and enjoys the challenge of difficult Endodontic cases.
Periodontal Treatment
Periodontists are dentists who specialise in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of gum disease. By referring you to a periodontist, your dentist is showing a strong commitment to optimal dental care. Periodontist have had three years of extensive advanced training in the treatment of periodontal disease, in addition to dental school. As specialist, they devote their time, energy and skill to helping people who need periodontal treatment. Periodontics is one of the specialities recognized by the General Dental Council.

Specialist Orthodontics
A specialist orthodontist is a dental practitioner who has received advanced training in the use of braces and tooth movement procedures. Complex orthodontic conditions are often beyond the skill and experience of regular dentists and orthodontists, but a specialist orthodontist has the necessary knowledge and expertise to treat such cases. A specialist orthodontist is also able to correct smiles with only the minimal use of surgery and tooth extractions.
